Stripes

You can use the Stripes object to create two-tone striped or three-tone checkered color patterns. You can find the stripes object in the Toolbox under the Objects tab  in the Shapes / Dynamic shapes area .

The colored areas can be used as a colored background or scaled down as a graphic element (e.g. for belly bands). The color area retains its high quality even with an extreme zoom.

Settings for stripes

Use the color selector to set Color 1 and Color 2 for your pattern. If you want even stripes, set the Color percentage to 50%. Deviating values make the stripes of Color 1 or the stripes of Color 2 wider. Changing the Pattern size will make all stripes wider or narrower.
 
You can use the Angle to influence the running direction of the strips. The 0° setting produces horizontal stripes, while the 90° setting produces vertical stripes. You can use the X/Y shift to change the start of the pattern.

By activating the Crosses option, you get a third color that is superimposed over your stripes. This creates a checkered pattern. Color 3 can then also be defined using a color picker. Use the Angle setting to control how the third color crosses your stripe pattern.

In the Mini templates section, you will find different preset stripe variants. On the thumbnails in the gallery you can see how the respective template looks. Click on the desired template to use it as is or modify it further.
